Triakel has had the honour to record Mattias Wargs song Mötet for a documentary film with same name produced at Dramatiska Institutet (national University College of Film, Radio, Television and Theatre). Here is where you exclusively can listen to it.

 In January Triakel did a tour in Dalarna with Madame Neruda from Gävleborg. As you can see from the picture some of the members had more in common than music. The woollen caps that Kjell and Lars are wearing was made very popular in the 70s by the legendary alpine skier, Ingemar Stenmark.  Triakel members are very fond of Winter. The album Vintervisor/Wintersongs is a tribute to the nordic Winter and Christmas. Every year since the release 2001 the band are doing concerts before Christmas based on this CD. The plan is to do so this year as well. Kronos Quartet/Triakel = Tusen Tankar |
The world famous string quartet Kronos has done a program with Nordic music. One of the songs they have chosen is Tusen Tankar/A Thousand Thoughts. A sad love song that has been a favourite part of Triakels repertoire since the start in 1995. |

Probably the best beer in the world |
As you can see from some of the photos in the gallery Triakel are interested in beer. The band are therefore very proud to announce their own label in co-operation with the local brewery Jämtlands bryggeri It's of course very exklusive and only served on special occasions such as a Triakel concert. |

Welcome to the new triakel.com! If you have visited us before you can see that many things has changed, hopefully to the better. From now on we will try to be more active (the other way around is probably not possible...) and update you on whatever is happening.  If you are in Japan, visiting one of MUJIs about 300 department stores and suddenly hear Triakels music in the speakers, don't be afraid, it's perfectly normal. Along with the guys from Väsen and some other fine musicians Triakel has recorded a CD with traditional Swedish music for MUJI, played and sold all over Japan. If you are a true fan, go there and buy one! |
